Using Concepts from Collaborative and Narrative Therapy to enhance your existing Practice

Cost: £150

Address: Malet Street, Bloomsbury, London, WC1E 7HX

This two day workshop focusses on how participants may apply concepts and ideas derived from narrative therapy to enhance their practice with clients.

An overview of the theoretical and philosophical underpinnings and approaches influencing narrative therapy will be provided with an emphasis on how the power of societal discourses may be constraining to how clients may choose to live their lives.

Participants will be helped to apply the concepts directly to their practice whatever their work context with an emphasis on a collaborative way of working.

The workshop will be facilitated by Helen Riseborough, a BACP Senior Accredited Psychotherapist who has had many years experience working with individuals, young people, couples and families within statutory and non-statutory agency contexts and her own practice. She has a special interest in collaborative working and teaching.
