Applications are welcome from practitioners who have gained a recognised counselling qualification informed by any theoretical orientation. They should be working with individuals of any age and/or couples and/or groups in agency, voluntary, statutory settings and/or in independent practice.
Practitioners applying to the course will need to demonstrate on the application form and at interview that they meet the above criteria and also that they are competent to meet the learning objectives of the course which at Level 7 comprises a large element of self-directed reading and study and written academic assignments.
N.B. Applicants who have obtained a counselling qualification at levels 4 and 5 and 6 are encouraged to apply. Your counselling experience is considered to be a very important aspect to the selection procedure.
Practitioners will also need to have internet access, be proficient at word processing skills and be fluent in spoken and written English.
